Getting It Right
Since the inception of the firm, the average cost of change orders caused by errors and omissions attributable to MAI - TPM is less than one half of one percent of the total construction value. The national average is 4%. We prefer our numbers and we believe our efforts to achieve this very low percentage of errors and omissions are a substantial added value for our clients.

Our active involvement facilitates the process:

  • Weekly or biweekly milestone meetings with consultants during the design phases.
  • Continual cross-coordination of architectural and engineering disciplines.
  • Use of engineering consultants with whom we have maintained long standing relationships.
  • Intense final coordination and constructability review of the documents prior to or during DSA review and approval.
  • Complete coordination of colors and finishes prior to bid.
  • Active involvement in the bidding process.
  • Active involvement in the construction process focusing on timely response to the contractor using methodologies which monitor and record current issues. Active participation in reviewing and negotiating change order costs.

In short, effective and open written and verbal communication combined with intensive engagement in the process from design inception to ribbon cutting, is the foundation for success.
